Life is an ocean

Ocean waves come and go. We have no power to stop or alter their course. When the waves rise up, the grandness of the ocean can be incredibly overwhelming.
It is similar with life: sometimes everything is peaceful and calm, other times the waves of life seem to rise up against us.
Where can you find the courage to keep going when you find yourself drowning in the challenges and struggles that surround you? Do you try to hold on to the waters around you, or do you have faith in someone mightier than you, who can rescue you?
The Bible is filled with many promises which God has given to us. One of them says:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
Are you willing to let Him be the strength that will carry you through the overwhelming times in your life?
